Edwin W. “Eddie” Sarver
GREENVILLE, S.C. — Edwin W. “Eddie” Sarver, 53, of 408 Great Glen Road, Greenville, and formerly of Bluefield, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2006 at his residence.
Born April 8, 1952 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Edwin H. Sarver and Fredda Webb Sarver. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church and was an H.V.A.C. technician, a former Jaycee, and a member of the Bluefield Moose Lodge No. 1079 and the Eagles Club.
He is survived by a daughter, Leigh Ann Sarver of Bluefield; a son, Aaron W. Sarver and his wife Melanie of Princeton; two sisters, Barbara S. Evans and her husband George and L. Louise Grove and her husband Karl all of Greenville; a grandson, Elijah Webb Sarver of Princeton; a niece, Mari Evans of Greer, S.C.; and his former wife, Deborah Harry Sarver of Bluefield.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006 at Mercer Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Tony Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Green Valley.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Sarver, Richard Robertson, Bobby Ellison, Joseph Ellison, Robby Fox, Billy Whiteside, Buddy Goins and Crockett Davidson. Honorary pallbearers are John “Tommy” Robertson, Sam Cassidy and Earl Garland.
The family will receive friends today, Feb. 1, 2006 at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m.
