 Bluefield High School Class of 1971 - Latest News 03-06-2008 - 2008 GET TOGETHER The Bluefield High School Class of 71 will be having this year’s Get Together on Saturday July 19th and Sunday July 20th at The Holiday Inn Bluefield, WV.
The 2008 Get Together will begin Saturday night at 5pm with a Happy Hour followed by a buffet dinner starting at 6:30pm. Sunday morning there will be a breakfast buffet. Menu items as well as cost will be posted sometime around the middle of May on the web site. There will be plenty of time after the dinner Saturday evening and after Breakfast Sunday morning for socializing with your fellow classmates. We guarantee that you will have a great time.
We hope to make arrangements with the Holiday Inn for discounted rooms. As soon as the details are worked out we will post the cost and availability of the rooms on the web site.
We want to encourage all of our classmates to attend this year’s get together. We need everyone’s help to have another successful get together. Please visit the web site at www.1971bhs.com and look under the contact classmates section www.1971bhs.com/classmates.php. You will notice that we still have a great number of “missing classmates.” Look over the list and see if you know where any of these classmates are. If you are able to contact them, please do so and tell them about our annual get togethers. Encourage them to register their names along with an email address for updates on information on the annual Get Togethers. Better yet, encourage them to come with you to this year’s Get Together. We have several options to make it easy for you to attend.
If you are unable to make it for the dinner please come up on the hill to the Holiday Inn after everyone has finished dinner and enjoy the rest of the evening, free of charge, with your fellow classmates. The same goes for breakfast. If you’re not interested in the breakfast, plan on coming up and socializing with your classmates after breakfast Sunday morning.
If you have never attended one of the annual Get Togethers, please make plans to attend the 2008 Get Together, you will not be disappointed.
