40^th Class Reunion

 

 

With the 40^th anniversary of our graduation from Bluefield High School, fast approaching – June 2, 2011, some of us have started to make plans for a big 40^th Class Reunion. The first thing we want to do is to hear from you so that we’re sure that our celebration includes all of the events and features that will make this occasion memorable and attended by a large number of classmates.

 

To get your input, we’ve put a survey together and posted it on-line at Survey Monkey. To take the survey, just follow this link http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/B9B3QPC and you’ll be able to give us your feedback in just a few minutes of your time.

 

We really appreciate your willingness to take the survey! Pass the word and be sure to tell other classmates about the survey. We’ll be closing the survey down February 21^st so go take it now to be sure we hear from you! 

 

 

 

There is a website exclusively for the Class of 1971 that has been operating for the last seven years. You can access the website at www.1971bhs.com There is a lot of good information available on the website. Most important of this information is the “contact classmates” section. You can find contact information for your fellow classmates and add or update your own information. Please visit this section, add or update your contact information so you will be able to receive updates on the plans for the upcoming reunion.

 

While you’re in the “contact classmates” section,  scroll down through the list of classmates, you will notice that some of our classmates are listed as missing. If you should know the whereabouts of any of these people, please contact them and tell them about the website. Ask them to update their contact information. We want to make sure that all of our classmates are aware of the upcoming reunion next year.

 

 

If you have never attended a reunion or it has been at least twenty years since you have been to one, then you need to make plans to come next year. 

 

If you are embarrassed because you still have a full head of hair and is still the same color it was 40 years ago. We don’t care.

 

If you can still wear the same size 6 dress or the 30 inch pants that you wore 40 years ago, we don’t care.

 

If you can still remember everyone’s name and still do not use reading glasses, we don’t care. We won’t give you a name tag.

 

If you think anyone will remember what you did during High School or the trouble that you were in. We don’t care, nor do we remember. Besides I’m sure the “Statue of Limitations” has run out on anything that you may be worried about.

 

We just want everyone to make plans to attend the BHS Class of 1971 40^th Class Reunion.
