 Bluefield High School Class of 1971 - Latest News 12-05-2004 - Charles David Riley Charles David Riley BLUEFIELD - Charles David Riley, 52, of Rt. 4, Box 355 (Poe Town Road), Bluefield, died on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Riley was born in Bluefield on Oct. 25, 1952 to John Riley Sr. of Bluewell and the late Louise Kinder Riley. Mr. Riley had been a resident of Bluefield all his life and had served with the National Guard. He was a graduate of Beaver High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bluewell. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Riley Jr. Survivors in addition to his father are his wife, Louise McGuire Riley of Rt. 4 Bluefield; son, Charles David Riley Jr. of Bluefield; brother, Mark Riley and wife Cathy of Bluefield, Va.; sister, Susan Rye and husband Larry of Mountain City, Tenn.; and sister-in-law, Mickey Riley of Falls Mills, Va. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 6, 2004 at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with the Rev. Robert Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Bluewell, where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
